Page Six, You're Making Me Blush!

I woke up this morning to find myself on Page Six again—very surreal. I guess I can let the cat out of the bag: I signed with the William Morris Agency, and will be finally (finally!) working to turn the beauty book I've been plugging away at into a reality. As you can imagine, our little Jolie is tickled pink. This morning also marked my reemergence back into the world of previewing beauty products. Benefit (one of my favorites—currently obsessed with their lipgloss The Gloss, in corsage) has readded me to their mailing list, so I awoke to find a smattering of new products from them. Can't wait to try, and I'll get back to you with my reviews asap!
Comeback Trail (Page Six)

And if you feel like reading an interview I gave a couple of days ago, it's available in today's New York Sun: Secrets of the Beauty Industry Exposed! (Sounds salacious, doesn't it?)

I just finished reading your July-June-May Blogs - you got fired for these posts? Unless there were more postings that you hid? I for one don't see anything wrong with the blogs - shouldn't be in the beauty and fashion business if one is onion-skinned!

Thanks Nadine. You've inspired me to write my own blog. In fact, you're the subject of my third ever post. There's a link to it and everything! (he said excitedly).

Good luck with the book. I'll be sure to get it when it comes out.

"Yasmine" I only went to this site because I read Page Six and wanted to see what the deal was. No one ever in my entire life has ever called me boring, so like Mariah, I'll shake that off. The thing about this blog is this lady is a trying to play Carrie from Sex in the City. The reason there is press around this is not because Nadine is a great writer (which I just found out) but rather that she was fired from a well known magazine for blogging in her spare time, it's a thing of ethics and technology. And plus she signed with William Morris and everyone who knows, knows they are completely desperate right now to for anything. Everyone is jumping ship at William Morris. HELLOOOOOO!

You know, I've loved you blog since I found it a moth or so ago. I'm really impressed that you have done so well at such a young age. I think you know how to play the game and there's nothing wrong with that. Good for you and don't listen to the negative comments.

I'm not a fan of this lady, but I do like you. Or is it one in the same??? LOL. And I didn't think this lady blogged at work. What I'm saying is obviously over your head. Let me reiterate...the reason this is getting coverage is because her blog was personal item like a diary but could be accessed by anyone, she was talking trash on her employer and industry, now if a company finds out about a personal diary, that has been recorded thanks to technology is it right to fire the person? It's not about her really. It only news because it was a well known employer. But I was so disappointed in this site, and I know I could do something so much more entertaining with my Hollywood experiences. But I won't. My fingers can't do it, this lady has poor character. I can't talk shit on the very people that gave me an opportunity in a competitive industry, regardless of how they acted. It was my choice to enter into that arena knowing I would have to pay my dues. Bloggers should get this....if you don't like where you're working quit!

So that's what's up.

Chill out with the quotes...lmao!

Ok 1st of all put your best fingers forward and lets what kind of Blog you can come up with.(Miss Hollywood). You say you have all the experiences, Lets hear them I am interested. No not really.
I really think the Hollywood sun sucked any sense out of your brain.
Nadine did not trash talk her job. She adored her job and was merely giving outsiders an inside peek into a Glamorous world (so-called). She is a great writer and you will see that yourself when her book comes out. Cheers!!!

Wow, Nadine. Things have a mysterious way of working out for the talented and witty. Your writing is sparse and funny and more importantly, you are writing about what WE want to hear about. And it is not self-important and does not ramble on and on you keep it short and sweet - just like the burbs in Us Weekly. Gives me a couple of breaks in the day that I enjoy. But I really miss the Nick and Jessica Breakup Watch. That was hilarious. Hilarious.

Nadine!!! You are too funny! I wish you much success in the future good things come to those who deserve it. It really goes to show you the "TRUTH" hurts even when you don't use names. Keep positive vibes around you. Oh and to the boring STELLA who is trying to gain Yasmine's approval... take your negativity to your own blog. I have one thing to say to Stella... "Blahg Blahg Blahg"! LMAO Yas!
